alright so it's time for me to learn about traffic trading. I want understand all this before I actually get into it.

So this is what I have thought about and considered for now.

1. I am running a fake TGP that is loaded with FHGs using TGP Rotator by JMB. http://www.jmbsoft.com/software/tgpr/ see example sites here: http://www.jmbsoft.com/software/tgpr/sites.php

2. I want to get the highest quality traffic possible. SE is top of the line, but from which one?

3. Should I run a sidebar ad in an Adult SE or just mainstream?

4. Traffic trading should commence when I have 2000 vistors/day with or without subbing galleries as a source of traffic?

5. Perma linking to other friends TGPs... bad idea or not?

6. Linking to sponsor hosted TGPs... on which page would it be a good idea, (archives?) or can I force hits to a sponsor TGP?

7. I heard that you can't run a traffic trading script and sub galleries on the same sever at the same time, is this true and how would they affect each other?

ok, done for now... more questions to come!

Thanks for your time,

bunky2u

1,2. any and all with the possible exception of chinese.
then again unless you know what to look for how and
how to stop spiders from search engines such as chinese
it's all good.

3. I would'nt pay for searches for a tgp

4 submit galleries of course. that means extra search engine
listings at the bare minimum and of course extra money.
some tgps keep you listed for quite sometime.

5. yes a very good idea. reason; search engines, particularly
google as it will help with page rank

6. i rotate sponsor and my own crap randomly using ghost driver
script from comus

7. should be no server problems until you reach some rather massive
traffic including traffic to your submitted galleries. should be no worries
there at all. (but this is also why i stress taking particular steps when
choosing a host and bandwidth provider. but do be aware of server load
your script will generate after reaching a certain traffic point)

hope that helps

one last thing.
make it a goal to own your own server.
it eliminates a ton of potential problems
and the difference between virtual hosting
and dedicated/colo is like night and day

trust me

If I sub a gallery to a high profile TGP and I am running a trade script won't they get bumped to a trade of mine? This is something to avoid I am sure... just how do you do it?

your trade script can be set to handle traffic in variety of ways.
such as first click always goes to a gallery. first two clicks
always goes to a gallery or 1 out of every so many go to
a gallery then next click goes to a trade.
that is something you will have to experiment with and
I would suggest starting off by using whatever seven
suggests in his tutorials.
he knows exactly what he's talking about and you can
totally trust what he suggests but do read around other
boards, particularly awi board to see what others have done,
are doing and their results.

far as I know running a tgp with a trade script is quite alot of work
so be prepared.
I know I want no part of it for alot of reasons.
